2019 was truly amazing. For Caer Sidi, it brought many challenges and many successes. We are happy to make this journey - especially because we are accompanied by our breathtaking community, by you guys. Thank you very much for being with Caer Sidi throughout this initial period of the project development. 2019 is just a beginning, let’s stay together for many years to come.
Special thanks to Caer Sidi Ambassadors! Your support is absolutely invaluable. Hardly anything would be possible without you.
Our team prepared quite a few digests, informative posts with our news and achievements. This Caer Sidi Digest #28 contains the most significant information from 2019.
From the ideas to practical steps - in January 2019, our team started the development of Caer Sidi. This service was born as part of Paracosm Project. For quite a long time, we even posted our digests on the site paracosm.games and called them Paracosm Digests. What about checking out the very first one? A lot has changed since.
Caer Sidi signed an agreement with the first partner - the development studio Wanted Games. We started working on adding Cross Reality features into the game Altar: the War of Gods.
Caer Sidi Pre-Sale was a significant success for our team. It gave us an even bigger motivation to move forward and, of course, the resources to do so. During the Pre-Sale, Caer Sidi community purchased credits and various assets for around $1M.
Also in March of 2019, we started developing the virtual incarnation of our service, Caer Sidi Hub (which had the name CrossParacosmic VR Hub then - please, check out the info on the rebranding in our article “Caer Sidi Hub - more than VR”). For making this modern version of the legendary fortress Caer Sidi possible, we partnered with the company Iridescent Studio.
The first version of the Caer Sidi website was released. It was MVP of the Caer Sidi service, and still, it had the store page with a few assets available for purchasing.
The collectible token game Post Scriptum CTG became available for closed alpha testing.

We started quite an important partnership - with the IOTA Foundation. Caer Sidi is a Tangle-based ecosystem, that’s why it is such a big deal for us to partner with the developers of this technology. You can find some details in the post “Official partnership of Caer Sidi and IOTA Foundation”.
Also, we got significant support in the development of Caer Sidi. Aliaksei Ivaniukovich and Constantine Zhukov became advisers of the project. Aliaksei helps with NFC and other techs. Constantine advises on integrating various game worlds into Caer Sidi.

Another promising partnership was signed with G2A - it may lead to adding a large amount of gaming content to the Caer Sidi Store.
Gabil Tagiev became a new adviser of Caer Sidi. Gabil is a serial entrepreneur with four startups and one exit.
Caer Sidi Beta has been released.
In late November, we revealed a significant renovation of Paracosm Project. The changes include forming three independent teams that work on the Paracosm Platform, Post Scriptum games, and ecosystem of Caer Sidi. We have re-focused our efforts on the B2B segment - it’s the most effective starting step. All the ambitious plans on the cross-real ecosystem are not abandoned, and we just implement them in the best way possible. Partnerships with big games will allow us to engage many gamers into activities on Caer Sidi. Also, work with such clients will give resources for further scaling.
At the annual event Startup of the Year in Minsk, Belarus, Caer Sidi took the 2nd place.

The work on Caer Sidi continues. All our achievements of 2019 should bloom into new win/win partnerships. As for now, we are negotiating with a few quite big companies the possibility to integrate the Cross Reality features into their games. We still can’t reveal any names, so let’s keep this information for future news on Caer Sidi Blog. Follow our social accounts to not miss them out.
